I don´t know if you have noticed this problem that I am about to describe in this short text but even if you didn´t you can tell me what you think about it and maybe provide some solutions. The bottom line is that when a local store works only in one city they are not spending any money on marketing as they think it is unnecessary. They think that local people are aware of their existence and if they would need something they will come for it. They forget that there is a competition even here. Someone seeing such shop not taking care of his promotion might run a similar one and take over their customers. That is why advertising is always important. For example, company from my city, carpet cleaning Bedford have just established an official website. They are also offering some of their products online in the online store. Even though they visit only customers from the area they take care of them and of the company´s image. This company, watford carpet cleaning should be an example for other local, small businesses.
